10-Year-Olds Just Beat All the Adults at Chess!

At the Knight's Shield chess championship, two amazing teams from Thornaby Chess Club—the Thornaby Queens (all girls) and the Thornaby Juniors (all boys)—played against each other in the final, and these kids totally crushed some seriously skilled adult players to get there! These young chess superstars proved that age is just a number when your brain is packed with brilliant strategies and clever moves. Who knows—maybe one of them will become a world champion someday!
