Scientists have created a super clever computer brain that can watch videos of bats zooming through the night sky and count them automatically! Instead of humans trying to spot every single bat (which is really hard when they move so fast), the AI [artificial intelligence—a computer that learns from examples] watches the footage and does the counting for us. Now we can finally figure out how many bats are living in places we couldn't count before, and that helps us protect these amazing night creatures!
