Scientists studied tumors from hundreds of cats around the world and discovered that cat cancers are surprisingly similar to human cancers — they even share some of the same genes that make cancer dangerous. By learning how cancer works in cats, doctors might be able to create better treatments that could help both cats AND people stay healthy. How cool is that?
