Our Eyes Might Have Come from a Tiny One-Eyed Sea Worm!

An ancient, tiny sea creature with just one simple light-detecting eye might actually be our very distant cousin! This little 'cyclops' worm used its eye to both see its underwater world and help it sleep at night. Next time you blink in the mirror, you might just be looking at a super-upgrade of a deep-sea worm's eye!
