Hungarian Company Transforms Hard-to-Recycle Waste Into Durable Road-Building Material

A Budapest-based firm called Makropa has found a creative solution to landfill overflow by shredding difficult-to-recycle waste and mixing it into lightweight concrete. The innovative material is now being used for road paving, home construction, and building insulation, diverting thousands of tons of waste annually from landfills and incinerators.
