Three Decades in the Making, Minnesota's Scenic 165-Mile Paved Bike Trail is Now Complete

After more than 30 years of dedicated planning, construction, and fundraising, the Mesabi Trail has officially been completed in northern Minnesota. This fully paved 165-mile pathway connects the Mississippi River to the edge of the Boundary Waters wilderness, offering cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts one of the longest continuous scenic trails in the United States.
