By mapping nearly a million of the city's street trees, Berlin has inspired thousands of residents to actively participate in urban conservation. Through an interactive platform, over 12,000 volunteers have stepped up to 'adopt' and regularly water trees in their neighborhoods, helping the city's canopy thrive during dry summer months.
